Biography

Alessia Colarossi is a Master Lecturer in Italian Studies in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Florida. She is also an affiliate of the University of Florida International Center as she served as co-Director and faculty member for the UF Language and Culture Summer Program in Rome, Italy. She has been developing and teaching a variety of undergraduate courses for 20+ years. For the past ten years she has been designing and focusing on hybrid and online courses. Beyond the use of technology in the classroom, her interests include best practices for foreign language teaching and learning in changing societies, international education and intercultural competence, and new pedagogies.
