Home to 15 different language programs, LLC offers training in languages and cultures from all around the world. We help our students become cross-cultural experts in an increasingly globalized world.
LLC programs offer the chance to pursue a major, minor, or explore a concentration such as: Intensive Area Studies, Comparative Cultural Studies, Film and Visual Culture, Literary Studies, and Medieval and Early Modern Studies. Additionally, we provide language instruction to college students from other State University System institutions through the new UF-CLAS Shared Language Program.
Whichever track you choose, it will provide a strong foundation for careers in education, international development, diplomacy, national security, communications, law, journalism, arts, medicine, publishing, and global business, as well as advanced graduate study.
