Aoyama Gakuin University – Exchange Program in Language and Culture

Program Terms

• 1 year or 1 semester (fall or spring).
• Aoyama fall semester: Early September – Early February
• Aoyama spring semester: April – July

School Information

• Located in Omotesando, Tokyo.
• Students join regular university classes.
• Housing option: dorm. (NOTE: It is not uncommon for students to have commutes of approximately one hour to campus.)

The study abroad program at Aoyama Gakuin University is located on a beautiful campus in the heart of Tokyo. The program accepts 1-4 students annually. Students take Japanese language courses + (Japanese) electives, all of which count towards UFGPA credit.

Requirements and Application

• Minimum UF GPA of 3.25

• 2 semesters of Japanese language instruction required by program start date
• Open to all majors; Preference given to Japanese majors
