
Korean Studies
Korean is an east Asian language spoken primarily in the Korean peninsula with over 80 million speakers world wide. Today, a diaspora of speakers exist in neighboring countries like China and Japan, as well as the United States, who hosts the largest number of Korean diaspora in the world.
As of 2025, Korean has rejoined the UF LLC family of languages and boasts a beginner course as well as Korean culture course, for those interested in learning more about Korean history, language, religion, and cultural codes.
