Biography

Natalia Sletova (Ph.D., Ohio State University) is a Visiting Lecturer of Russian at the University of Florida. She is also a Director of the UF Study Abroad Program in Tbilisi, Georgia. Trained in Russian studies and second language acquisition (SLA), she specializes in teaching all levels of Russian and instructed SLA . Natalia Sletova’s academic interests lie in Russian linguistics and the relationship between L2 writing and speaking. Additionally, Natalia has created an outreach program to promote different cultures and languages among American K-12 students and has been closely working with US Russia Foundation to promote pre-college and college programs in USA.
